The Aftermath: A Valley in Lockdown

The region has been sealed off. Army personnel, drones, and special forces are sweeping the forests around Pahalgam. This wasn’t a random outburst—militants knew where and when to hit. That fact alone has shaken confidence in the current security apparatus.

President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, also extended condolences to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the terrorist attack in Jammu Kashmir's Pahalgam.
